But his brother is really good
I'm starting to think that might be part of the problem. Like, maybe Cody doesn't like basketball that much and he did it because his brother did it and brought Cody along.
But his brother is really good
Truly. That is so depressing when you look at all the guys drafted after him.

Good scouting goes a long way. Aaron Wiggins was drafted 55th late in the second round. Isaiah Joe was claimed off waiver. Dort was undrafted. Not to mention their spectacular record in the first round. If you can consistently scout and recruit good players to your team, you will be competitive in just about any sports. The Oklahoma City Thunder legitimately piss me off. To have the best point differential in history, while being incredibly young AND setup for the future.
I know they'll have some contacts to juggle when Chet gets off his rookie deal, but it's just insane how perfectly this has come together
I played high school basketball with the brothers of Tom Chambers and Danny Vranes. Those bros were definitely playing because they were supposed to. I remember a reporter asking Tom if his little brother played basketball beyond HS. The unprompted laugh of Tom still makes me laugh. If you know, you know.I'm starting to think that might be part of the problem. Like, maybe Cody doesn't like basketball that much and he did it because his brother did it and brought Cody along.
Yes, it's unfair. The Oklahoma City Thunder legitimately piss me off. To have the best point differential in history, while being incredibly young AND setup for the future.

SGA has been betterShai is having one of the strongest MVP cases I have ever followed, which makes it even more crazy that I'll be a little upset when he wins.
Like he deserves it in a vacuum, but Jokic this season is transcendent.
The Thunder have won more games and there’s voter fatigue with Jokic. Those are the only arguments. Jokic has a better PER and +/-, and if he wasn’t on the Nuggets they’d be trash. The Thunder probably still make the playoffs without SGA, Jokic is the difference for the Nuggets between out of the playoffs and perennial dark horse contender at worst.SGA has been better
Jokic is without question the best player in the world right now and it isn't particularly close. Imagine this guy with a supporting staff like SGA has? They'd be in contention to beat the warriors win total record and by more than 1 game. With him on a team like that you could be looking at 75+ wins which would be insane. The Thunder have won more games and there’s voter fatigue with Jokic. Those are the only arguments. If he doesn't win it will be the same level of ******** as when they snubbed Gobert for DPOY and gave it to Smart. You could even argue Gobert was snubbed when they gave it to Giannis. Frankly Gobert should have won it 4 years in a row but voter fatigue is a real thing. Hope Jokic doesn't get snubbed in the same way this year. Frankly he has been the best player for the better part of the entire last decade and shows signs of only getting better, which is crazy. If he can somehow drag that team to another championship at some point he would be in the discussions of the GOAT. It could very well be MJ/James/Jokic in that discussion.I'd vote Jokic for MVP

If the argument is give it to the player who most upholds his team from being ****, it would go to Giannis. The Thunder have won more games and there’s voter fatigue with Jokic. I have been team jokic for MVP but this post gives me pauseSGA is the best player on the best team (not only the best, a historically great team), has only missed 3 games this season, is the scoring leader and plays all-defensive team level defense. He's the MVP
