The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

good trade for Houston they got rid of green and brooks. probably start cam whitmore? Why didn't we draft him again?
Cam Whitmore was barely in their rotation. He answered to reporters all year about his lack of minutes.

Dont get fooled by the highlights. Something is off there.

Congrats to Presti, Shai, J Williams, and OKC. Sucks for the Pacers and Hailliburton. Thst is for sure a ruptured Achilles.

The Celtics and Pacers are going to both take 1 year off and reload with the 2026 draft. Calling it now. If either ends up in the lottery they end with a top 4 pick in the draft.

This is the folly of treating the NBA like the championship is the only thing that matters.

In about five years, nobody's going to remember that the Thunder won, and when they do, there's an asterisk due to all the injuries.

Wasting whole seasons trying to get to this point is the height of insanity. 90% of people cared more about the Durant trade saga than the finals.

Thunder fans will remember it and relive it many times for the rest of their lives. Who the f cares if some random twitterliving Lakers fans forget about it?

NBA definitely turns into sport version of Kardashian's at times... probably more than most major sport leagues. But only a drama queen would imply thats more meaningful than winning a championship. Banners in the rafters is the whole selling point for these Durant type news anyways.
