If Bronny James is in the rotation to start the regular season I'm gonna start calling JJ Reddick the Lakers lead assistant coach.

I think they may play him some minutes just so that the "Father & Son" achievement pops, and after that he should be deposited in the G League. Dude has taken 16 shots with a 12.5% hit rate, and has more turnovers than points, rebounds or assists (5 vs 4/4/1), in addition to being tied with JHS at team worst -40 on the plus minus.

I'm not sure how he fairs in the eyeball test, but his box score couldn't be much uglier.

“Well, what the Lakers’ expectations are is he’ll largely be a G League player like almost any 19-year-old player coming into the league drafted in the second round. What you’ll ultimately probably see is Bronny James in the first week of the season on the court with his father in a very – I don’t want to call it ceremonial, but the eyes of the world will be on that. They’ll do that the first week of the season, but there’s no expectation Bronny is going to be in the Lakers’ rotation.”

I mean he clearly isnt in the main rotation based off the game yesterday...

CHI roster has all the makings of an extremely mid team. I really like the Jalen Smith pickup….though they could probably use another big.
