It’s cuz Kolek is a great PG.
I think based on his first 3 years of production thats a rather steep price in an era where CBA is squeezing the mid-to-low tier contracts.... but if the Warriors think he is gonna level up then that deal may end up great for them.
There are signs that he may be in for a serious statistical bump which could make that deal look like a bargain. In the preseason he pretty much doubled his PPG and APG from last season despite playing just 20.1 mpg (vs 17.5 mpg last seasoni).
Sure, but Thibs has a pretty crazy track record with developing PG's.
Jazz might've dodged a massive bullet by failing to land him in the offseason.

Hmm….its not that crazy depending on what Robinson’s health situation is like. He would have to be the matching salary.
Achuiwa isn’t a terrible backup….better than playing with Payne.
