The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Raw +/-? Doesn’t mean much since the Wizards have been a tire fire the whole time he’s been there, which will be exacerbated by him playing real minutes.

if this were on/off splits that’s an entirely different story.
Just said competition, not clear cut. Cody at least has some defensive ability which Bun absolutely does not.

Good call. Love has been better than their current backup big situation. Lopez+Beal+CP3 for Svi+Anderson+Love works money wise with no apron issues or need to worry about roster spots. It's the trade that makes the most sense.

We get something from the Clips for sending the better players and eating Beal's money for next year (but muh cap space). We also open up roster spots after waiving CP3, Beal, and Lopez (unless we want his cooked *** to chuck some 3's). Sign Mo, convert Harkless, get a revolving door of prospects going....whatever. Those roster spots have value.

And of course, there's BOGO tank value to this trade.
Good thoughts, I’m just not sure if they have anything to trade that we would be looking for. Checking that out now.

Speaking of BOGO trades, we should maybe be targeting Portland as a team to make better (might help with some Jazz and Timberwolves losses).

Giannis has apparently started the convo of leaving Milwaukee... Time for some Ainge big game hunting?

They have control of their 30, 31, and 32 FRP's. I don't think we'd get a full FRP....but they certainly have enough to get a deal done. If it were up to me I wouldn't need much at all.

Giannis gonna end up in San Antonio... that is my prediction.

I know he wanted NY but they don't have nearly enough to get it done imo.

Look, it's like when you are playing Risk and someone gets off to a huge lead and all the other players have to leave their own best interest aside and gang up against the leader in order to level the playing field.

In this case OKC has the huge lead and the rest of the league needs to gang up to make sure they don't get multiple lottery picks in this draft.

If Chris Paul gets traded to the Jazz and retires right after it will be the most fitting end to his career possible. Of course he goes out like this.
Get him here to coach Keyonte to an even higher level to finish his career here 20 years after we picked Deron over him (who retired 8 years ago!). What more could he wish for?

The list of possible things that make going for it this season a good idea is probably this one idea long.

Atlanta is in pole position. New Orleans is so ****ing dumb and Dumars should be under investigation by the FBI for that trade.

Chris Paul does not want that role on the Utah Jazz, I can guarantee that

Oh Man...

- Milwaukee is the worst team in the league without Giannis, but similar to NOP/LAC they don't own their pick.
- This makes the pick that ATL owns that much better.
- I don't think Utah will be in the running for Giannis, but maybe we get involved somehow
- If I were Milwaukee I would prioritize teams that owned my picks, so I can get them back. I used to know who they are.
- Milwaukee is in such a bad position with the dead money from Dame making it difficult to build a good team, but with no picks to add talent.
