Cavs are hiding Don on the worst player. When DG comes back that will be a bigger issue, but their offense is going to be elite all season I think.

I think the Cavs are definitely legit though. Dean Wade (looking like a + version of Niang) has been such a revelation for them. I really worried about their lack of shooting, but Wade has changed that. I expect Caris/Osman to regress considerably from 3, but when DG comes back, they will be able to put out lineups with a lot of shooting.

I agree with you. Won't be surprised if Cavs ended 1st or 2nd of the regular season. They have a very well balanced team, a good bench. When DG is back they might be hard to beat. And if Don don't struggle in PO, they might be a very serious contender.

The thing right now is their entire team is shooting lights out. When the shooting regresses we will see what kind of team they are for real. I thought shooting would be a huge issue for them to start the season.

Agree. This is what I currently like a lot for your team. Some night , Lauri, Mike, JC or KO don't shoot well at all. But there is allways some players to stand up and conpensate. We have such a deep team that we do not have to rely on one or two players. This is not the case of the Cavs, If Don, DG shoot not well, they might struggle.
 
Gobert was 4/11 from the field for 9 points tonight. Chris Finch called a couple post-ups for Gobert in crunch time that didn’t end well and Timberwolves fans are pissed.

They should be more pissed about DLo who is such a bad money time player....Rudy since the beginning of the season do what he can do. The problem might also be that people expect Rudy to score 20-25 every night, things that he is unable to do as his offfensive skill are very limited. You can't play post-up all the time. If they are not happy, send him back to Utah and we are definitly a contender ;)

The good thing is that we don't get their pick over the next few years so we can actually enjoy watching Mitchell destroy the league for a few years.

Mitchell playing crazy, but the bigger story is the Cavs shooters. That's why they are overachieving despite DG being out.

I didn't realize Luka is putting up the numbers he is. Guys are putting up some monster numbers to start the year.
