I can't wait to see what type of impact Ja will have on the griz. It is crazy how bad they have been this year but Ja solves so many problems for them and allows guys to fit into their correct roles. They may have already dug themselves too big of a hole to get into play in contention by then but they should be a pretty damn good team with him running the show and get close to the play in at the very least.

Wolves need to move KAT before his value tanks. OKC needs to move Josh but that might be impossible. Roll with Wallace he's a better fit.

I mean, Cuban just made 3.5 billion and still gets to keep his dream job. IDK how much of a thing it is. Probably just Cuban selling high so he can invest in other rich people things.
Yeah, but the new owners can get rid of him any time they want. I'd bet he doesn't make it two years. He also quit Shark Tank.

He's retaining his shares or some shares so he's not an employee like a normal dude would be. He's likely got a team of lawyers protecting him. He could retain less than majority shares but have super voting rights... I've seen it with some companies where their shares have 10x the voting power so they may control the company without a majority ownership. So the asset may be owned by the new folks and still controlled by Cuban (likely for a number of years... likely some sort of phase out plan).

Hopefully he doesn't have some health issue or something. Maybe he's gonna run for president.

Possibly, but I don't think someone shells out 3.5 billion for something and cedes total control like that. Especially people who can buy something for 3.5 billion. Their lawyers are going to be as good or better than Cuban's. I think they let him finish out the year then start to put their own stamp on things. If Cuban fits that he stays. If not. . .

I mean if you are still going to let Cuban still have total control for a long time, it would have been cheaper just to purchase a luxury suite.

He's not going to be an at will employee... they won't have power just to fire him. They do it now so they get the thing they want buy Cuban can stay in power for 5-10 years. He likely has some restrictions on what he can/can't do. This kind of smells like transition planning for Cuban in that he wants to make sure its easy for his family or him if a sudden change happened because the asset is already sold... but he wants to still do what he loves for a while longer but they have a good buyer lined up now.

Its all guess work but if Cuban really wants to stay in power he won't make it so he's just an employee that can get fired. He would have heavy protections. I can see a group buying the asset and being okay with it (the valuation seems a bit lower than expected) because there are only so many of these franchises and this one is in a good market.

What did the nba expect… I just imagine they are in the house cuddling and the nba investigator stops by and they don’t answer the door and close the blinds.

This is going to go nowhere.
Newport Beach PD is also investigating it. In California (where she lives) the consent age is 18 so it could turn into a criminal case, in which case closing the blinds wont help anymore.

Does that matter if the parents dont want to pursue a criminal case? Can the state do it themselves?
