I can’t listen to the commentary on games anymore. The way the NBA is covered is complete trash and is all about “exposing”. If a player in a switch gives up a single basket it’s “exposing” and they won’t shut up about it. Gobert obviously has it the worst, but they did the same for Horford. A defender can concede 1/10000 shooting…..but that one time he gives up a basket they’re going to go “OMG HES GETTING EXPOSED THEYRE TARGETING HIM!!!!!!”. Doesn’t even matter if the offensive player is an all time great. The instant you give up a basket you’re unplayable.

They call that a foul quite often unfortunately. I dont think they should award that type of foul baiting. Its consistent though. Offensive player pump fakes, defensive player leaves his feet, offensive player jumps into the defender, foul gets called. I see it all the time and dislike it every time.

No, they have mostly stopped calling these. They put it in the rules to prevent these types of fouls on "unnatural shooting motions"

I would forgive them if Reggie and others were at least entertaining. Like Mark Jackson was generally wrong but was mildly entertaining at least. How Reggie has gotten to where he is is beyond me. Perkins is a clown but he says funny stuff and no one should ever take him serious... but he's entertaining. its when they are wrong and annoying and unfunny... like we can do better. They need to bring in more RJ, Candace Parker, etc. that are both funny and generally not dumb.

I feel like a few years ago, when they made it a point of emphasis to crack down on foul-baiting, it was initially called less. Then it just slowly went back to the way it was called a decade ago.

No, I have. They call them far less than they use to and they usually don't call them like that. It's quite literally written in the rules

Anybody else love Ant’s post game interview? This guy is so real!!! He continues to step up like last night, look out! Also, Anderson on Luka was a wrinkle that worked. Liked Conley’s assertiveness on offense and Gobert locking in on D and being more assertive with the ball in the paint. Wolves are 3-0 in elimination games in these playoffs, I predict that they send it back to Dallas. Then it’s anyone’s guess from there.
