Bulls just traded Caruso to OKC for Giddey

Because of @Saint Cy of JFC 's Lavine/AC trade today I plugged in a deal that sent AC to OKC and Giddey to Utah with Lavine.

That is an interesting deal. OKC can do a re-negotiate and extend with AC as well. Old school challenge trade.

Good move by the Bulls. Now they have a good piece for their rebuild moving forward. Not sure what OKC is thinking there. Do they really need any more undersized guard who's limited offensively?

OKC is limited in the amount that they can give Caruso. So I don’t think R+E is in the cards for them.

Caruso isn't an undersized guard.

They can give him 4/80M exactly six months from today

Giddey's value was a bit higher than expected but the amazing news is the Bulls actually made a trade.

Wonder if this means OKC is looking wing/big in draft or nothing really at all. Would think Bulls are out of the Topic business maybe. Maybe it has no implications on the draft at all... shrug.

Also shows that AC may have lost a bit of value as he is now expiring contract... maybe. If the rumored offers of 2 firsts were true. Maybe they never happened though.
