The Redick honeymoon phase might be ending soon. They're going to need 70+ games of Bron and AD playing great just to sneak into the playoffs like last season.

Doubt it. They've under performed the past couple of years because they've been so top heavy. They're finally getting good minutes from the young dudes (Kuminga/Pods/Moody/TJD) and they have depth (Hield/Anderson)

No one really talked about them losing Hartenstein this offseason because they were so focused on the splashy additions. But he legit carried their defense for them last year.

They'll legit need AD to be the MVP to have a chance to be competitive in the West. Like legit lead the league in scoring while playing elite defense. Bron is still good but he is slowing down this year for sure. I like Reaves/Rui but they could desperately use a third guy to take some of the pressure off Bron/AD.

I wonder if the Wizards would consider moving Jordan Poole? The Lakers could easily make it work financially.
