He was actually pretty decent last year.

We knew they were likely to trade those two guys to get under the 2nd apron. They were able to cut costs far more efficiently than I expected tbh.

The NOP gave up an unprotected 1st in 2026 to move up 10 spots to select Queen. He had better be the ROY or it wasn't worth it because they were the 2nd worst record in the West last year and Jordan Poole / Fears arent going to make them better than CJ McCollum.
I would trade Lauri to the Hawks for that pick and one more in a heart beat.

Ya Im a huge Kessler fan but his weaknesses are glaring (so were Goberts though). The payday looms large in how I feel about him on the roster going forward. Im kind of ok with young guys ruining the tank. If Kessler gets a reasonable contract and proceeds to single handedly ruin the tank then that is a win in my book. That would indicate that Kessler is underpaid and a great player on a great deal.
