I do not think the Hornets want to trade for a 7'1" guy currently going through knee issues.

Sabonis is not 7' let alone 7'1". LaMelo has his own health issues too. I can absolutely see Vivek being enamored with LaMelo and the market being tepid enough for both guys that a Sabonis/Ball swap happens.

Lamelo for Sabonis is unironically kind of interesting.

Especially since they could’ve just kept Halliburton who is better.
