The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Proving a lot of haters wrong.

Queen proved that he's a 100% non-shooter, short-arming a WIDE open game-winner.

He's a guy who has to be within 5 feet of the basket to score, and then he also has to be defended by someone equally unathletic. Luke Kornet, who now moves like a tectonic plate after inexplicably putting on a ton of weight, fits the bill. It was the battle of the two goofiest bigs in the league. At one point, Kornet literelly stumbled on his own feet with nobody near him and fell over, giving Queen a free layup.

Derik Queen is the perfect hero for the Pels, though. A 3-22 dumpster fire of a team with no hope, direction or fans is a great environment for an unserious rookie who's as useless off the ball as they come.

Looks like Herro is getting blamed for the Heat's gimmick offense no longer working.

Is Pat gonna do something before he retires? Or is he just going to fake it the rest of the way?

I don’t understand why it was working. Except plain defensive bewilderment.

OKC is going to be 24-1 after tonight. That's the same opening record that the 73-win Warriors had in 2015/16.
I think they are well positioned to break the record. They have so much depth and are so locked in.
