What's new

The Official 2014/15 Tank Watch thread

I wouldn't say we want to over play them though. We don't want to risk injury. But I would like to see Gobert and Exum practice some things on the offensive end. Rudy needs to try some in game shots, and Exum needs to take it to the hoop.

I say play all 3 34 mpg

Posted this in the Draft thread --

Jazz offer Hood + 10 to Sacramento for 6 or 7 in the draft. Jazz get Hezonja or Winslow. Sacto gets Hood + Turner.

I wouldn't do it, though it's tempting since I like both players. But Hood has already shown me that he can be a very solid scorer in this league.

Anyone else still thinks Tanking doesn't exist in the NBA?

Too obvious.

Stauskas should be playing if they are tanking.

Summer League it is then. Give Rudy and Dante 20 minutes each and call it a scrimmage. Let Millsap work on his 3-pt shooting.

The Kings have 2 games left vs. the Lakers as well as a game against the Nuggets whom they're tank racing with. Will be interesting.

Cooley in with 7 min. left in the 1st quarter.

You can't tell me we're trying to win AT ALL COST neither. Everyone's playing the game. Jazz no longer player checkers while other teams are playing chess. (right, Freak?)

Boston and Indiana won tonight. Not that I want us to lose....but if we do, we can move to Nro. 10 in the lottery

Brooklyn narrowly loss... falls to 8th.

Not necessarily a bad thing as it gives Heat & Pacers hope to keep playing well.

I dunno who has more to prove in this game. Kings subs playing for their spots next year/next contract, or our team wanting to keep improving. Hayward & Favors have nothing left to prove 'this year', being less aggressive, certainly looks to me like they're just 'mailing it in' now.

Jazz ending the half with: Burke, Hood, Ingles, Evans, Cooley. Losing by 8 points.

Yup, I think DL & Quin gets the message.
