The Official 2016 Lottery Watch

BUMP. :p

Overly down on Hayward and Hood after their early season struggles in my OP, but no PG and DL did nothing even remotely significant at the deadline...AGAIN! How does he justify keeping his job? Well, I guess because he invites 100 players to work out pre-draft so he can find Utah all those hidden gems.

Hint to Dennis: just attend a few DLeague games with homey; he can hook you up with all of the end of the bench players you need. And the board gets to keep the extra cash from 60 fewer workouts. Win-win! Even better, just find a buddy (San Antonio?) and arrange to attend their workouts, cancelling all of those in SLC. It's pure GENIUS and really boosts profit margins.

One more summer, then it's LindseyBegone for me if the status quo remains.

Well, I lied. I've already made LindseyBegone my signature.

After the loss tonight, the Jazz are now 3 games out of 8th. They are also 1-2 against the Rockets, so a win @ Houston would be needed to even that tie-breaker. If the season ended today, the Jazz would, pre-lottery, get the 12th pick. But cheer up, the Jazz are only 3 games out of the 8th pick.

Big night for lottery implications. Jazz are just three games back of the 8 slot in the lottery and 3 games out of the playoff 8th spot.

Washington is in a desperate place outside of the playoffs trying to get in.

A few teams ahead of the Jazz in the lottery order are still trying to win games. #8 New York doesn't have a pick, it goes to Denver.

#9 Denver is shipping its pick to Toronto, so winning doesn't hurt them. They are5-5 in the last 10.

#10 Milwaukee is also 5-5 in the last 10. Kidd might be coaching for his job.

#11 Orlando was on the verge of the playoffs until they traded Channing Frye and Tobias Harris. They are only 4-7 since the trade.
