That's because Jason actually let you back a couple of weeks before the 6 months was over. The two infractions are set to expire on Apr 23 and Apr 24, and then you'll have a clean slate.

Meh. I went 5.5 months without really missing a beat, with the occasional browsing of the forum. There were plenty of threads that I wanted to give my two cents, but since I couldn't, it got pretty old pretty fast. It's nice to be back though -- I've really missed all of my e-friendz.

Is it part of that early release program due to overcrowding? I didn't think perverts were part of the low-risk group.
Is he at least required to register wherever he goes so the women, children and sheep can protect themselves?

He had a good knowledge of last year and current fiscal year city budget, had a letter of recommendation from the out-going Mayor, a letter of recommendation from a long time member of the Planning Commission, another letter of recommendation from a high level city employee, and other verbal recommendations (couldn't do a letter due to conflict of interest) from leaders of the city and community. Then there was this other applicant who was really nice, kind of quiet, and was just sorta there. Nobody had ever seen him at a meeting, nobody had ever seen him at any city function, and he wasn't on any of the volunteer committee's for the city. In short, he had absolutely no idea what was going on in the city, who people were, how things were done, and hadn't lifted a finger to help out in any way. I'll give you two guesses as to who was appointed... Come to find out later (although it has just been through the grapevine, and I can't really say for sure) that "that guy" just so happens to be one of the new mayors buddy-buddy pal's. No, they didn't get me banned. However, they are the main reason that I wasn't sad to be gone. For six months I watched as slowly, one after the other, the post counts of decent people went down, down, down. Not surprisingly, the post numbers of certain STG'ers went drastically up. I kept in touch with several posters in the real world due to business that we do together and all of them had the same observation. They haven't driven anyone off the board, but one can only handle so much of their drivel before it becomes a chore to sift through.

Well a large part of that drivel as you put it is contained in the UGLI forum. So that lessens that claim in my eyes. Also if those posters have a problem with what is being discussed and the direction of threads then they should lead it in a direction that they choose. If they simply abandon posting than to be honest I am not really concerned with their complaints. I am fully willing to play along with almost any direction they wih to take the forums.

If you are willing to complain then be willing to be part of the solution.

So ya, I miss a lot of decent content (I'm sure) because once I see two or three of them join up in a thread and crap all over it, I just leave the thread. At that point, the board becomes less enjoyable, and like I said before, meh. I don't really care to "fix" it or anything like that, because frankly, I don't give a flying squirrel's nut sack -- they can do whatever floats their boat. I, like many others, just don't care for it and therefore we don't post as much or care less than we did.
