You're the armchair tough guy though aren't you? Assassinating their top general was a great way to get thousands of Americans killed and plunge a region into war. Way too risky.

His position is absurd. The last two administrations have had the opportunity to assassinate Soleimani and they both passed, because they figured it wasn't worth the blowback. And here's an idea- maybe Iran wouldn't be helping insurgents in Iraq attack American troops if we hadn't sent them there and destabilized the entire region.

My favorite part of his argument is probably where he invokes their attacks on Saudi Arabia as a justification for us ramping things up against them. As if us getting more involved is somehow going to make things better, or that it's any of our business in the first place.

Maybe he's just looking out for our weapons manufacturers *shrug*
