Barack Obama called Donald Trump a "fascist" in a phone conversation with Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia during the 2016 presidential election, Kaine says in a video clip featured in an upcoming documentary about Hillary Clinton.

Kaine, Clinton's running mate on the Democratic ticket, recounts the call during an exchange with Clinton that was caught on camera in 2016. Kaine's wife, Anne Holton, was also present.

"President Obama called me last night and said: 'Tim, remember, this is no time to be a purist. You've got to keep a fascist out of the White House,'" Kaine says before adding with a laugh that Obama "knows me and he knows that I could tend to err."

Clinton replies, nodding, "I echo that sentiment."

She then puts her hands to her chest and says, "But that's really — the weight of our responsibility is so huge."

They’re not funded by the federal government. But since when does “The Great” Mark Levin and Donald care about truth? They have a useful pie chart showing their revenue sources through their website:

What I find reprehensible are the people who support Trump after knowing he paid off porn stars, mocked a disabled reporter, cheated on each of his wives countless times (even while they were pregnant), was caught and found guilty of defrauding tens of thousands of students with his fake university, was found guilty of defrauding donors from his charity and has been barred from ever sitting on the board of another charity again, has 9+ close colleagues/lawyers/staffers/appointees who have been indicted/plead guilty to/convicted of illegal crimes, abused his power by withholding meetings/visits/congressionally-approved military aid to a vulnerable ally all for his own purposes and not for the well-being of the United States, was Impeached, broke the law by withholding that aid, hired now-indicted thugs (who were caught fleeing the country) to run his personal/shadow foreign policy objectives, willingly accepted and continues to accept foreign interference in our elections, tried to out a Whistleblower which is against the law, tweets nonsense on a continual basis, has lost his entire personally-appointed cabinet to scandal/firing/resignation, is rolling back protections on the water we drink and the air we breathe, gave millionaires and billionaires a $ trillion tax cut, has grown our deficit from $770 billion to over $1 Trillion in less than 3 years, has defunded the cost-reducing aspects of the ACA to a point where premiums have skyrocketed, and appeals to racists and Nazis. I could list more, but seriously - do I have to? Do I have to list the 16K+ lies that are documented over the last few years?

And I’m supposed to believe in their wisdom, integrity and Christianity in the future?

Between Schiff and Trump, I have such a hard time deciding which of the two talks like an 8 year old, and which of the two delivers some of the most eloquent rhetoric by a politician in my lifetime....

And why not? The decision by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to make the Senate impeachment trial of Donald Trump an exercise in raw power politics is grinding toward its foregone conclusion.

The creation of a new form of American government, where the executive branch is permanently and utterly above the law, oversight, and accountability is upon us, and the exoneration of Trump in the Senate is the moment that historians will look back on and say, “There. Right then. That was the tipping point.”

The weaponization of the departments of Justice, State, and Treasury into formidable arms of the Trump Organization is nearly complete. Bill Barr isn’t an Attorney General; he’s the Enforcer General of the unitary and puissant executive branch.

And it’s all because Republicans in the Senate don’t have the courage God gave the common rat.

Senate Republicans are going to let Trump skate, and permanently realign the balance of power in the process, because they’re too chicken**** to stand up to his tweets, too terrified of a primary by some MAGA nutters, and too dumb to understand they’re ushering in an era that looks like nothing we’ve ever seen in this country.

This is a one-way ticket, a ratchet toward a system that rewards a culture of threats by bullies and thugs like Trump with their desired outcome. It peels back the cowardice and weak-dick posturing of the Senate GOP like little else. They’re willing to ditch it all because they’re scared.
 
Biden is up 50-42 on Trump. If this is anywhere close to the same margin in rust belt states, then Trump will be sent packing in November. If Biden steals any of the following southern purple states trending blue, Georgia, Texas, or Arizona, it’ll be a blowout for Biden.

Counterpoint: If Trump and his Senate GOP lose in November, some of the damage done by this acquittal will be mitigated. The lesson learned will be that crime and corruption doesn't pay.

If however, they retain their majority and/or trump is re-elected, our country will be altered permanently. And not for the better.
