Hey I just want to say to y'all who believe everything the media says. Trump never said to inject yourself with Lysol. Yeah, he probably shouldn't speculated about vague ideas for a cure, that's not his job. But at least he didn't say what the leftists are screaming from the rooftops claiming that he did. I mean, just because you are gullible and blindly follow whatever crisis NBC manufacturing at the moment in order to pursue their twisted agenda doesn't mean that you need to help them sow division.
I honestly hope for Melania's sake she has a very nice "pool boy" to keep her company. In all seriousness, he clearly isn’t. 55,000 Americans have died. And if that wasn’t enough of a concern, Today’s Melania’s birthday. Instead of worrying about this pandemic or heck, about his wife, He’s spending his entire day whining about how he’s being covered by the media. Like the narcissist that he is, he can’t talk about the sick or dead. He can’t even talk about his wife. All he can talk about are his perceived grievances.
He’s clearly deteriorating. How anyone can think that he deserves 4 more years is beyond me. Will he even remember his own name in 4 months? I’m being serious. Most presidents physically age quickly. For Donald, he looks the same but his ability to focus on anything right now seems far worse than even during the 2016 campaign.
If the GOP still had a brain, they’d execute the 25th amendment and roll with Pence/Haley. Trump could be used as the scapegoat for the pandemic/economy and they’d have a realistic chance to retain the White House and senate. Not to mention, finally be able to come Up with better responses to this pandemic and ensuing economic depression. Instead, trump is probably going to cost them both... while also prolonging this pandemic and awful economy.
Which part of this didn't he actually say?
I don’t think Joe was hung up on whether or not he used the word Lysol. What I’m reading is that he’s saying that Trump was having a side conversation on hypotheticals of how it could be treated, with sunlight in the body or a disinfectant, and that he did not say these were treatments nor that people should do this. They are most certainly stupid thoughts and hypotheticals, but as stupid as they are it’s still not him suggesting people drink [insert whatever you want] or inject [insert product of your choice].
... and certain elements of his constituency don't have the discernment to know the difference between that and literal advice.
I agree with that too. Still really stupid thing to say hypothetically on live tv to a country looking for answers during a pandemic.I don’t think Joe was hung up on whether or not he used the word Lysol. Agreed. I actually think this is the main message of the media backlash: That Trump was having what should have been a side conversation with Bill Bryan on camera in front of the entire country, and certain elements of his constituency don't have the discernment to know the difference between that and literal advice. Whether he lacks the awareness that his words have that kind of influence is arguable; what is not is that he was doing it solely because he thought it made him look smart and/or thoughtful in front of his audience. Inevitably, some of the media response is overblown, and now, unfortunately, we're seeing an attempt to deflect by focusing on the media's critical reporting of his comments, and to re-frame it as overblown in its entirety.
Ya I don't think anyone has been saying that you are smart to do stupid things trump says.Your President is a waffling buffoon. But ffs anyone who listened to that and goes injects themselves with detergent has probably forfeited their right to blame somebody else lol Natural selection is a bitch.
Its hard to comprehend how there is so much stupid of all types in one single country.

I have a friend that had been living in Seattle for the last 15 years or so (grew up in SLC originally) and she recently moved back to Utah. She is single and told me it's harder to find someone to date in Utah because there are way more trump supporters here (she said there are basically none in Seattle) and I told her to just wait until he isn't president anymore. Suddenly she will find that there were never any Trump supporters here in Utah. They will all act like supporting Trump was something they never did.Trump is the greatest gift the liberals could ever wish for. He has exposed the Republican Party. Every voter will be thinking "can we trust a party that gave us a man so obviously amoral and incapable of running our country?
The libs will take control of Senate, House and POTUS. Thanks to IMPOTUS45's gullible backers.
Wait, was Trump a liberal "plant" all along? Was it his mission to weaken the country? (And here we thought it was just part of a Putin plan)
It will be interesting watching all the sycophants jump off the burning ship and explaining why they never really supported Trump.
PS: I'm old enough to remember an era where the story was "Yes, Nixon was corrupt, but so are all politicians, Nixon just got caught" What will the post-Trump narrative be so folks can save face with their children and grandchildren?
