Not really. I've lived in England and for a little bit in Germany, I would choose those countries over US. I've also lived in other countries, including two years in US, where I studied at Harvard. I could have easily stayed there but decided against it. I'm now living in Mexico City, have a good job and a pretty decent quality of life. You need to travel a little bit and live in different countries in order to realize that nope, US that does not have the best living conditions in the world...by far.

And when I retire, I'll probably live somewhere in Mexico, Portugal, Spain or my hometown of Lima, enjoying nice weather, the sea and some of the best food in the world:

Yah lets just ignore that -32% GDP that came out. Huawei just claimed the #1 worldwide spot on smartphone sales (even with being banned in several countries). Intel is 6 months behind TSMC on their fabs, probably more, 10 years ago that would be unthinkable. Newsflash, the world is just as smart as us, harder working than us, and less proud than us.
