That flip-flopping in foreign policy is costing lives. I once bought into his “America first” motto myself, took me no longer than two months to hop off of that train. Some of his twitter interventions are quite frankly, embarrassing. If he could have shut his big mouth so many times maybe he wouldn’t be getting all the blowback. There’s policy, and there’s forms, and how you carry yourself as POTUS is important.
Also I can’t think of a single good reason why befriending Saudi Arabia would be a good idea.
I get that he isnt presidential. I can see what everyone else sees. Id rather it be someone else. But unfortunately there isnt anyone stepping up and willing to do what he is doing. Or at least what I hope he is doing. We have a big problem with government corruption. He appears to be trying to take it on. Its why I, and many people voted for him, and are still supporting him.
Look at it this way. If the government truly does have a problem with corruption and some of the conspiracies were true, wouldn't you expect a response like the one we see where there is a constant smear campaign going on? Wouldnt you expect some of these forces try to make his life hell? I think we would, which is why I start to believe it even more when I see this all happen. I voted for him because he was being attacked by both sides. I considered both sides problematic and part of the corruption. That was the signal that he is the real deal. Yes, he also can come off as a douche. But Id rather see this than be constantly lied to by politicians. Its a joke that we have been fooled by these people time and time again.
