The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Another preview of what to look forward to if any of these ridiculous Democrats win:

https://victorygirlsblog.com/this-is-no-way-to-go-through-life-snowflakes/

"Snowflakes are melting everywhere at the thought of President Trump being in office, getting another term in office, enforcing the nation’s laws while in office, and generally existing as a force in US politics.

The panic, hysteria, and unhinged rage would be amusing to watch if it didn’t have an impact on not just those of us who want to live our lives in peace without being told what to do, how to act, how to speak, what to purchase and eat, and what to wear at the point of a government gun, but also on politicians aspiring to more power and who are only too happy to lick the collective taint of the snowflakes to get there."

The investigation was a waste of time. Our country could have been better served without doing it. Most the convictions were perjury traps.

You are repeating a lie. Is it ignorance, or are you lying?

I suppose you could believe it was just coincidence that 17 errors were all made in the same direction.

Not at all. I would venture 99% of mistakes made investigators/prosecutors favor the result of convicting people. What I don't believe is that 17 errors is an unusual amount, nor that this indicates an animus directed against Trump. This is normal investigative work, which passes for justice among conservatives when the defendant is not white and wealthy.

Thank you for acknowledging that the Mueller investigation was important and significant.

I suppose you could believe it was just a coincidence that Trump surrounded himself with people convicted for their illegal actions on behalf of Russia. Once is happenstance, two is a coincidence, seven is a plan.

Lol Nice conspiracy theory. That's laughably paper thin, I shouldn't even give it that much credit.

people convicted for their illegal actions on behalf of Russia.

On behalf of Russia. Go peddle your wares elsewhere. You do realize Manafort has as many or more DNC connections, and wasn't ever charged with anything campaign linked right? And what he was charged with, hmmm... the unproveable black ledger, something that was created entirely by the now well documented Clinton conspiracy to commit treason by overthrowing our democratic election.

But hey, let's make out Manafort avoiding taxes and possibly taking money from a Hillary Clinton linked Russian oligarch is working on behalf of Russua, whatever that is now supposed to mean.

Looks like obstruction of congress is now also DOA. Let's call it Colton's silly little list. I think that captures the biased media hype well enough. The charges are all falling apart and rooted out for the nonsense they are. Every Trumped up charge and purposeful misreading of law has so far fallen flat. Let's cover the main 3:

-Russiagate: made up by Clinton's and Fusion GOS
-Taking info is violation of FEC law: silly myth.
-Obstruction of Congress: SC says nope, duh. Of course Congress doesn't play judge, jury, executioner, and afterlife god just because the never trumpers want him gone.

So now what are we left with on Colton's silly list? Unpresidential conduct. Trump says things people don't like. That and asking Ukraine to investigate corruption oh me, oh my!

Thanks for making my point. It's pretty much what I said. Most of these crimes were because of lying to the FBI for various reason that didnt have to do with Trump and Russia. These essentially mount to the equivalent of a perjury trap. Let's put some Democrat associates to the same test and see what happens.

Isnt it funny how the former head of the FBI and his associates can get away with telling many lies and commit fraud against the American public? Where is your outrage about that? The FBI lying should be a way bigger deal than some private citizen. But you dont seem to care as long as it serves you.

I'm glad mainstream media didn't get to you.

Remember how you wanted Trump impeached for multiple things besides the Ukraine bribery but even said that you think he is guilty of that but that there just wouldn't be enough evidence to get him for that?
So you think he has done 3 impeachable offenses but there is only enough evidence on two of the things.
Good times

NPC, can you please explain which key news stories were legitimately and credibly debunked-- i.e. they were truly 'fake news'-- and how that absolves Trump? I'd be grateful-- seriously. It's a wild claim, if you think about it: No other president in American history has been able to simply dismiss the news media like this, and an entire segment of society chooses to believe him, no questions asked. And actually, forget that request for fake news stories, because the real question I have is this: Why do you trust him so completely? Is it-- and this is an honest question-- because you believe he was chosen by God to be president? Did you become a fan of him during his days on 'The Apprentice' (again, an honest question)? Explain his appeal, and how you became this devoted, please, because I don't care how many 'fake news' stories and political cartoons you post, NPC-- the man is the greatest in American history at one thing only: Lying (nearly 14,000 documented, outright lies during his tenure in the White House so far). Add to that the multiple layers of moral corruption-- serial marital infidelity, shady business dealings, crude and uncivil comments about women and minorities and dead soldiers and decorated war heroes and handicapped people, etc.-- and I don't understand how you can continue to support him on that basis alone. So please, explain.

Sure, Id be happy to answer your questions.

I could point to dozens of fake news stories about Trump, but why not just point to the mother load that proves my point.

Russia Gate. Nothing a bigger lie and nonsensical BS conspiracy story than this. Inside of this bgger lie has been many lies told. See below.

  1. Are media corrections forthcoming?
"The Horowitz report makes clear that multiple news cycles over the last few years were dominated by reports that were either incorrect or lacking factual foundation.

These included assertions by multiple outlets that the Steele dossier was not central to the FBI’s efforts to secure a warrant on Page, that the FBI found Christopher Steele and his dossier “credible,” that tales of FISA abuse were conspiracy theory (one of many claims Mother Jones called “********”), that the memo written by Devin Nunes on the subject was wrong and had been “debunked,” that Russians “blocked” Trump from nominating Mitt Romney as Secretary of State, that Trump lawyer Michael Cohen was in Prague (presumably to meet Russian hackers), that a “pee tape” existed, that Russia’s Alfa Bank and the Trump campaign were communicating via a secret server, that the FISA warrant on Page must have been producing good intelligence in order to be renewed three times, and many other things."

Why do I support Trump and why did I vote for him?

Im not religious and I have never watched a single episode of The Apprentice. So those guesses are wrong. Im not a true conservative. Im just temporarily taking this side. I voted for him because he represented throwing a wrench in the corrupt political system. The more the establishment goes after him and exposes themselves as what I thought they were, which are corrupt liars, the more I support him.

As I have stated before, I can see his flaws. I would have much rather have preferred it was someone else that was doing this. Someone smarter and less cringey. But no one else had the power or guts to do what he is doing.

In a weird way he has the outward appearances of being a terrible person, but at the same time is doing one of the bravest things Ive seen a politician do. He is a one man show taking on things no one else thought was possible. Im honestly suprised he hasnt been JFK'd yet.

2 out of 6 is "most"?

The FBI lying should be a way bigger deal than some private citizen. But you dont seem to care as long as it serves you.

I've been complaining about, or supporting complaints about, how the FBI works for years. Right now, I'm mostly amused that you suddenly care, when rich, white men are the victims.

He doesn't. That's the whole gist of half the accounts posting in this thread. "I don't remember the inconvenient"

So the Russians assisted in the effort to get rid of Yovanovitch, the American Ambassador to Ukraine:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/tech...ve-helped-spread-smear-us-ambassador-ukraine/

"The story that appeared on The Hill website on March 20 was startling.
Marie Yovanovitch, the American ambassador to Ukraine, had given a “list of people whom we should not prosecute” to Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, according to a write-up of an interview Lutsenko gave to the conservative columnist John Solomon.

Five days later, an image of that purported list appeared in a post on the website Medium and on a number of other self-publishing platforms in locations as disparate as Germany, South Africa and San Francisco. In less than a week, the Medium essay had been translated into Spanish and German and posted to other websites.

Now, a social media analysis firm, Graphika, has traced those posts to a Russian disinformation campaign — in the first evidence that a network of accounts involved in spreading disinformation before the 2016 election also participated in circulating the false claims about Yovanovitch that led earlier this year to her recall from the U.S. embassy in Kyiv."

Trump's supporters here think we can now dismiss as fake news any connections to Russia that might exist, and that Trump does not want revealed for all the world to see. All just a hoax to those supporters. Naw, I doubt it, and I've been suggesting for years, that if you want to know exactly what connections exist between Trump and Russia, follow the money. Of course, Trump simply will not allow it, and now the SCOTUS will take the issue up in March, 2020. But, really, although I might not find out in my own lifetime at this rate, lol, Trump opponents will someday have the last laugh:

Democrats hate it when Johnathan Turley gives history and legal lessons. He's out again with more.

The Trump impeachment is even weaker than the Johnson impeachment, which had an accepted criminal act as its foundation. This will be the first presidential impeachment to go forward without such a recognized crime but, like the Johnson impeachment, it has a manufactured and artificial construct. The Trump impeachment also marks the fastest impeachment of all time, depending on how you count the days in the Johnson case.

The same is true with the abuse of power article. I testified that the House had a legitimate reason to investigate this allegation and, if there was a showing of a quid pro quo, could impeach Trump for it. Democrats called highly compelling witnesses who said they believed such a quid pro quo existed, but the record is conflicted. There is no statement of a quid pro quo in the conversations between Trump and the Ukrainians, and White House aides have denied being given such a demand. Trump declared during two direct conversations, with Republican Senator Ron Johnson and Ambassador Gordon Sondland, that there was no quid pro quo.

One can question the veracity of his statement, as he likely knew of the whistleblower at the time of the calls. But there is no direct statement in the record by Trump to the contrary. Democrats and their witnesses have instead insisted that the impeachment can be proven by inferences or presumptions. The problem is that there still are a significant number of witnesses who likely have direct evidence, but the House has refused to go to court to compel their appearance. The House will therefore move forward with an impeachment that seems designed to fail in the Senate, as if that is a better option than taking the time to build a complete case.

"I don't like the way he talks" is not an impeachable offense.

"I don't like the way he talks" is not an impeachable offense.
But according to you trump has done multiple things that are in fact impeachable and should be impeached. That's according to you anyways.

The investigation was a waste of time. Our country could have been better served without doing it. Most the convictions were perjury traps. Which one of those so called crimes could be possibly be worse than what the FBI and Clinton did to start the stupid process in the first place? Thats the real crime that you turn your morals off to forget. The aftermath of convictions were the poison berries grown from the rotten seeds Clinton and the FBI planted. They forced people into mistakes and lying, and also uncovered some real crimes in the process. But none the less, the most egregious crime has been severely overlooked. The FBI being compromised is no joke. Thats the real threat to the country. I suppose you could believe it was just coincidence that 17 errors were all made in the same direction.

ok, scoop.

That Trump managed to sell to so many people that he's not a part of the 'system' is truly astounding to me.

Really? Because Im not sure if you have noticed but everyone and their dog are going after Trump. You think a system guy gets the treatment he is getting?

We are talking about a cabal of elitists, deep staters, and globalists. Trump is definitely not a part of that group. I think that has been made pretty obvious by what is happening to him for even thinking about draining the swamp.

How you cant see that is baffling.
