Or, you could invest that in government infrastructure and a social safety net, and create jobs still more efficiently.

I only spent 6 years in the MIC.

I see your point. Support for some institutions like education us foundational to economic success, I.e., dumb citizens are unproductive.

Given a stable societal infrastructure, the private sector/ capitalism is the final yard to optimal productivity. Because of capitalistic Darwinism, enterprises that are not efficiently employing Human Resources fail.

So my thesis is that you need both to optimize the whole.

No, and no. The latter might have been suggested, since this is Trump we're talking about, and false flags are a popular conspiracy narrative in this day and age, but I don't recollect at this time.

We thought he was going to be is different than we think he is imo.

Trumpers think he has already achieved a god like status. He is a near equivalent to God to many idiots.

(To be fair saying we thought Obama, or anyone, was going to be the next Messiah is a really stupid thing to say too)
