The *OFFICIAL* Russia Is About To Invade Ukraine Thread

Do you hope that Israel nukes Gaza? or that Gaza is completely destroyed and leveled and all Palestinians are completely eradicated? Or do you hope they can find a peace deal?
I hope for peace. But you’ve made it clear that you support Trump. And Trump’s plan is to level Gaza. Trump’s plan is to relocate Palestinians, all of those in Gaza, elsewhere in the Arab world. Once that is done, Trump will build “the Riviera of the Eastern Mediterranean” in Gaza. Note Trump did not call for “eradication”, which might denote a “final solution”, don’t know. Netanyahu, on the other hand, has had no problem killing Palestinian children by the thousands, so I think he’s less bothered by genocide. Anyway, is this also your position: peace obtained by leveling Gaza, relocating Gaza Palestinians, and a new resort for the world’s wealthiest people. Oh, and a Trump Tower or two, I’m sure. That your solution too?
Ukraine is NOT winning the war with Russia.
So, “might makes right” is your position where war is concerned. If a nuclear power invades a non nuclear power, the weaker power must surrender, must not defend itself. Not once have I heard you, in recent days, criticise the deaths of Ukrainians. You condemn the drone attack. That attack was against military assets, not civilians. Very precise, each drone had its own pilot. 100% military targets. Damaging and destroying the very planes used to indiscriminately kill innocent Ukrainian civilians. So, you back the power that kills civilians by the thousands. In your world, any time Putin and Russia invade a neighbor, that neighbor must surrender, must not seek Western help. Otherwise, Putin might get mad and lob a nuke at someone. Strange idea of nuclear deterrence you have. I thought the threat of mutual destruction was the fear. You have a corollary: since Russia has nukes, they can attack and conquer any of their neighbors.

You declare that the right of a sovereign nation to defend itself from attack is not in effect, if the invading power has nukes.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine was completely voluntary. There was no provocation. There was no national security issue. There was only Putin's desire to use his larger military to conquer a smaller neighbor in order to add territory and gain glory for Russia.

The solution is for him to take his military and go home.

Dur Russia bad Trump bad most corrupt country in Europe full of Nazis and bioweapons labs good

Remember they actually had an active treaty that Putin just trampled on.
But there was corruption... We all know there is an exception in the rule that you can't just conquer your neighbor unless there is corruption. So like if Canada wanted to conquer the U.S. right now it would be legit. Plus all the Nazis in the U.S..

Real talk though, Ukraine struggled since leaving the USSR, and did have significant corruption. This invasion is finally giving modern Ukraine a strong national identity and Zelenskyy has been rooting out corruption. In a strange way the Russian invasion is making Ukraine stronger.
