Almost none of the aid the U.S. is "giving" Ukraine is in the form of money. Most of the aid is going to U.S. companies.

This is known, has been known and you have called those of us supporting Ukraine liars when we've desperately tried explaining this to thick skulled suckers like yourself over and over again.

The U.S. authorizes aid to Ukraine. We ship or authorize our allies to ship Ukraine old, out of date and/or expiring equipment and ammo. We then spend the Ukraine aid right here at home to build new, up to date, equipment and ammo and resupply our stockpiles and the stockpiles of our allies.

That is how this has been working the whole time and here you are thinking you've discovered a secret. ****ing unreal.

KYIV — President Donald Trump’s phone call to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday has deeply rattled Kyiv and its European partners, triggering long-held fears that Ukraine could be excluded from the peace talks determining its own future and security — as well as that of the rest of the continent.

Trump, who spoke to Putin on Wednesday and then phoned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to inform him of the call, said that he and his Russian counterpart will soon try to meet in Saudi Arabia without the Ukrainian leader.

The announcement of the Trump-Putin call, which made no mention of Europe, and a pending meeting between the two men also play into European leaders’ fears that their defense interests will fall by the wayside if Trump has direct talks with Russia. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday it was “premature” to discuss a role for Europe in any talks.

Zelensky has long insisted that talks to end the war must include Ukraine, and European leaders have said they need to include Europe. Zelensky has also pushed for Ukraine to be granted either NATO membership or equivalent security guarantees. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Wednesday that returning to Ukraine’s pre-2014 borders is unrealistic, that NATO membership should not be on the table and that U.S. troops in Ukraine would not be part of any security guarantee.

So Ukraine will be as far as possible denied a seat at the table. The US will meet with Putin and will divide Ukraine according to their own interests. What does that look like for Ukrainians? It will mean signing over the mineral and energy wealth of the country to the US for nothing, with the lose guarantee of protection. That will be the best offer they get from Trump. Or they can fight on without US support, the ****ing Europeans should look at this situation with abject shame.
