with Dave, you can take what he says one of two ways........ eat it, or flush it. Don't ever take it personally.
Most of the time there's a point to it that means you're taking yourself too seriously, and most of the time you can afford to laugh at yourself.
According to my wife, some people's kids are "fishers" of the sort that will dredge some poop out of the toilet and smear it all over the bathroom walls. Sometimes quarreling in Jazzfanz is sorta like doing that. . . . .
my policy is to flush it, and laugh.
