Doubt it is all program to blame, they had very decent shooters come out from Australia - Mills, Ingles, Delly, even Baynes now hitting 3's like crazy. I remember they had this dude Shane Hill in 90's - he was lights out shooter. Exum and Simmons are more exception to the rule TBH.

No, he can't be remembered as bust - bust is somebody who is very talented and yet never fulfills his potential due to injuries, laziness or whatever reason ( Oden, Milicic, J.Williams). Dante was just overblown out of proportions by scouts and I will remember him as one of the most overrated international prospects ever - in the same mold as Tzikitishvilili, Saer Sene and Korolev - all hype but no real basketball talent. So he is kind of our drafting staff failure - thats it. Had he been drafted outside of lottery - nobody would waste so much time discussing him.

No, a bust is someone that most people thought would be good, therefore being drafted early in the first round, and then didn't come close to expectations.

Exum was the 5th pick in what was regarded at the time as a loaded draft and was being compared to kobe and penny.

He qualifies as a bust at this point.
Micheal Bennett is also a bust. So is Jan vessley.

Dante needs to go to a team where he feels comfortable. He has no restriction whilst playing. A coach that tells him to go out there and play. If U miss that's fine. Shoot the 3 the pull up. But most of all he needs the ball in his hands and use his incredible speed. All this guy needs is confidence.
 
A big responsibility of a coach is giving his players confidence. The guy hasn't played for a year. So what quin does is puts him in a corner plays him 5 mins a game. Shoots the ball 7 times in 4 games. Let him play like he's play pickup ball.

A big responsibility of a player is giving his coach confidence in him. Dante doesnt do that.

He's played 4 games in 1 year. For 5 minutes standing in the corner. I remember last year when he was running the offence. Why not let him do that again. How can someone prove themselves by standing in the corner? Honestly I know U and alot of or don't like him but be honest
