You forgot to mention that Gobert shot 38% against Davis and Davis had 10 blocks.

I love me some Gobert and he's been playing out of his mind, but if I had to choose between them, there's no question who I'd take.

Gobert, AD, Jingles and Mitchell is well worth going into the luxury tax. That would be a ridiculous team regardless of whoever the other 11 players on the team are.

Would Boogie be a better and more realistic fit though?

I love me some Gobert and he's been playing out of his mind, but if I had to choose between them, there's no question who I'd take.

Gobert's value isnt really tied to his scoring tho, which is why he is so great. He is the offense, but he doesnt even have to touch the ball, all he has to do is screen.

No way can Boogie play any meaningful four after an achilles rupture. Also there’s that whole chemistry and mental part.

It's certainly not advocating for him. I only say Boogie because, I believe, his contract is up and he could space the floor really well for the Jazz. I dispose the guy, but love his game. Gobert and Boogie, to me, would be dangerous together.

I don't doubt this and don't hope this. That injury is a bitch. Hope he gets better and plays at a high level again.

Shuts down? Didn't Davis put up 25 pts and 11 rbs and 10 blocks on one ankle? I guess we have different definitions of shut down.

FWIW, Davis in the 4th Quarter: 0 points on 0-2 shooting, and one of those Rudy blocked him.

Rubio-Mitchell-Ingles-Davis-Gobert is a virtually perfect starting lineup imo.

I would throw in my right nut to close the deal. Of course I would make that deal. Jazz could win multiple championships with that lineup.
