It was a "swamp walker". That was the premier make-up job for a walker for the show. They wanted to give it some screen time cuz they were proud of the work they did on it.
Everything has been a let down since the Wolves episode.
next one should be a good one. mid season finale. wonder who will die
Hopefully Eugene, Gabriel, a bunch of Alexandrians, Carl and Spencer.
Well the "smoking gun" is that the kid (name escapes me, the kid of the dude Rick killed) has a loaded pistol and is only very limited trained. Rick told him he would have someone point a gun at him, and he would raise his gun and shoot (but not raise it to eye level and miss). So, that could be some foreshadowing that he misses shooting Rick/Carl and ends up shooting someone else. My money is on Engrid.
Maybe we will get lucky and he will shoot Carl thru the side of the face and take out his eye. Turn Carl into the killer he is in the comics. Got to prepare for Negan after all.

I think we are going to see someone executed like Rick did to Pete (I think that's his name) in the seasons first episode. It will happen either in the mid season finale or the season finale. I've been talking with some sources. That's what I'm hearing. I can't say anymore.
Nah, Eugene can stay with that pickup line he dropped a few episodes ago.
