Does it get any better? Last episode I watched was they finally found the girl theyve wasted like 5 episodes looking for and killed her cuz she was a zombie.

Should I press on or just quit?

Yes, you should quit. Sounds like you don't really like it at all. Why continue. It's more of the same.

I'm not sure if you remember, but I'm at the point in season 2 where they have been at that dude's farm doing absolutely nothing for like 5 episodes. Does it pick up after that or is this the tone of the show?

That season ends with a bang. Season 2 is the slowest the show has been. Season 3 picks up and ends with a bang as well. There are some intense scenes and episodes here and there but it is not the fastest paced show.

Season 3 has some major characters introduced. One is a badass. Toned way down from the comics but still.

Hmmmmm. Maybe I'll see it through to the end of the 2nd season.

I want to like the show. It just came to an absolute stand still when they went to that damn farm.

Yeah it did. Can I recomend the comics? Much more action and some of the characters are very different. Darryl is not even in the comics. The comics are also way, way, way darker than anything the show has done. The show is not even close in terms of messed up crap that goes down.

That episode was the best of season 2 though.

Tyrese don't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed to create a mega flu and to then turn around and be in total disbelief his girlfriend was burned just to cover his grisly crime. His sister has seemed somewhat suspect, but she was the one who pointed out the rats so when it comes down to it hand in hand.. It's all a guessing game.

The medic? He had only been at the camp for a week, but he looked awful suprised to hear that kid coughing in the end of the first episode.

Stick with it. The second half of season two is much better, better than season 3 I think. The Shane/Rick feud really escalates.
 
I think the flu and the rat are separate issues. I think the rat will end up being something disturbing but not directly done on purpose with the aim of destroying the camp. If that were the case the person could just open the doors at night and let them all in. I think the flu is just something that is happening, not connected to the rat-feeder, and might even be the original sickness that causes the zombies but mutated somehow.
