With all due respect to Cyrone, I still read the books and am watching the show. It can be repetitive, but then they hit you with an episode like last night, a twist on the books. Pretty damn good episode and emotional.
They killed the only interesting character the show had left. How is that good?
Last night was a tense episode. I didn't expect it to play out so fast though. I think Michonne, Darryl, Maggie and Carl have promising stories that they could build off of.
Plus there are three new characters we have not seen enough of to judge yet, Abraham, Rosita and Eugene.
I don't know why I still watch.
All the main characters are melodramatic and terrible actors.
Characters on this show just have 0 depth. The acting is awful and the writing is there to match.
I don't know why I still watch, but I'm never on the edge of my seat or wondering what will happen next. Every move the show makes is telegraphed.
All their emotions and problems are very surface level though and the way they are told is just bland. Compare it a show like Breaking Bad where the characters had much more complex levels of depth.
I don't mind if the show isn't mainly about Zombies, but they just use them as filler right now.
