So full disclosure, I ordered a Valve Index VR system early December. They were backordered but I got mine a few weeks ago.
VR is weird, for sure.
I've had some interesting experiences but I agree that VR needs some big titles to sell units. I hope Half Life Alyx is that.
I'm playing stuff, but not sure anything is really there to hook me.
Most of what I've played is pokerstars VR "Spies"
**** is weird. It's about 10% poker, 90% spoiled rich kids trying to figure out how to put the lighter in the ducks ***.
I need to write Valve an email to tell them to make a unit that can deliver the correct light to people deprived of daylight. But I had another cool idea that they should make a VR coaster with a cup so that if you're trying to drink a beer (or whatever else) while playing, the cup shows up in your VR headset.
