Whoever goes, you definitely don't want to drive if at all possible. The Mex 1 Highway is not very interesting. Occasional momentary bright spots of scenery, but there is nothing that interesting in the Ensenda to Cabo gap to stop off to or anything. And there are multiple military checkpoints, some seriously pot holed roads, overeager Mexican police, etc.

The entire 6 years I lived in San Diego I never went to TJ one time. No regrets.

When I was 14 my family drove down to Ensenada because one of my aunts moved there for some kind of reason. I had a little bit of fun. Expecting this to be better than that.

I went to ensanada.... sucked.

Tijuana sucked too. (I was only like 12 for thatbone though)

Love cancuun and cozumel.

Never been to cabo
 
I love most of Mexico. Especially those areas with fewer dumbass Americans.
My wife wanted Cabo more than i did, tbh. Id rather rough it a little. Im certain that makes me in the minority.

Money and school are the only potential road blocks for me. Hope I can make it work.

I vote for either July or August.

Anyone wanna do a big road trip?
