Thoughts on "black face" costumes this Halloween

dont tell people what they cant do based on offense.

there is no such thing as right to not be offended.

and if you wanna ban stuff that is offensive (because of historical events) let's ban socialism! we cna ban together and ban this offensive **** called socialism

yeah BAN SOCIALISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whoohooo world peace will be achieved

You're right, people who consistently support equality for black people, and then do something cringe-worthy, get treated differently from people who consistently oppose equality for black people, and then do something perhaps less cringe-worthy. It's almost like people are more forgiving of someone who made one or two errors than someone who has been consistently wrong. I'm not sure I can explain that, it will have to remain a mystery to you.

spo i can do blackface then. because you don't know what percentage of my income and my incomes family has gone to charity in 3rd world countries!
or am i gonna be dragged to court by you so i have to prove it by having the receipts.

you know what **** you we either all get to say the n word. or we DON'T!

if those rappers can sing using the n word i'm gonna sing along if i like that song.

you dont know what money i spent on charity, or how much time my mom literally worked for FREE for charity. so **** you!

you think kimmel can do blackface because you deem him morally better than me or others? **** YOU THEN!

Also this is straight out of left field, not sure what this is about. Good chat though

The parents who adopted Kaepernick and raised him as their own son, who stood behind him in support through his kneeling, who loved him, were just thrown under the bus. Kaepernick is human garbage who may give future potential adoptive parents pause. Making a show of protest against actions of the United States or racism or whatever is one thing, but the way Kaepernick is now using his considerable platform to attack his Mom and Dad is disgusting.

This post says a lot more about you than it does Kaepernick.

You don't need this post to know how much I value family. It is a consistent theme in things I think.
Cool. It's not an attack to have someone point out problematic views. I'm sure Colin has had this conversation with his parents, and they've grown from the experience. You don't need to feel victimized on their behalf.

So if you had something to share, why not lead with the articles, but you needed to bait us first. Lmao and nothing in the article tells me why he’s garbage.
Also, the only negative things from @Al-O-Meter post was him calling Kap garbage and lap’s adoptive mom calling Kap a thug for doing his hair in a certain way which may not be her knowing what she’s saying but racist none the less. Let’s also not forget you don’t know any details of how his family feels about the book, did he talk to them first or what. The only person seen in shady light is you.

How could you possibly know that his parents were so amazing? Were you there watching them raise him?

Kaepernick grew up far more privileged than most of us here. Not surprised he blames whitey instead of his father who wanted nothing to do with him and abandoned him.

Were they? Do they deny anything that Kaepernick mentions? Have they expressed any disapproval of what he's written? Do you have any reason to say this material was published without their support?

Maybe that happened but it should have ended there. It should not have gone on to Kaepernick then having his agent set up interviews with the press where he punched down on his Mom for being a perpetuator of racism. He's a multi-millionaire with a huge platform and he's using it to attack his Mom.
