If we could put Locke’s effort and accuracy into Boler’s voice and delivery, we’d have a really good sportscaster.

As it stands, they each have what the other utterly and completely lacks.

The thing I don't like about Locke (besides his pipes) is that he tries too hard to come up with catch lines and says some pretty cringe things. Sometimes his emotions come off fake too cause he over does things.

Boler is fine for me. He calls the game and has great pipes.

The one thing I couldn't stand about Boler was that he could never call a 3 right. He seemed to dramatically improve in that area last year.

Harping stinks and he’s way better than Thurl. Boler has a really good voice, I don’t really mind listening to him. Even though he comes off as very simple.

Locke is cringey as hell, and should be more embarrassed sometimes. But he loves his job and puts a **** load of time into it. I give him props for that.

Thurl is low energy, I prefer Harpring. I think big T is great at pre/half/post game stuff though.

Harpring is kinda corny, but you almost have to be. He knows what is happening and generally has good insight. I know some are not fans... I enjoyed Harpring as a player and might be a bit blinded.

I think Locke would be good, but haven't listened to him call a game. He was sometimes a little rehearsed with his one liners.

I feel like we could create an AI Hot Rod bot to call the games... Imma start a kickstarter campaign.
