It’s literally the only way to force reform within the gop. If they remain competitive while embracing Trump and Trumpism, then there’s no real reason to change.

Walz killed it last night and his son showing emotion was incredibly moving. The sociopaths that run the gop today can’t understand real emotion because they’re incapable of it. If Trump loses I don't see him leaving politics, its money for jam and the last racket left for him to make a dishonest dollar. I also don't see the GOP and his followers suddenly having a coming to god moment and going wait we're on a loser here. best case scenario for the GOP is he starts his own party but why would he when he basically owns the Republican Party?
Surprise, surprise, a felon trying to help out another felon. And like his hero he was also accused of abuse... by his own wife.
But just how pathetic is the party of Trump? Bringing Walz's sons disability into the mix is not a surprise though is it? I'm waiting for The Rapist to do it too. What are the odds he just can't help himself?

For some men on the Right, showing emotion is a sign of weakness. It’s feminine. Actually, to many on the Right, expressions of love by men is considered a terrible and shameful weakness. Imagine? That would be the Josh Hawley school of thought of how a man must behave to be considered a real man. And a man showing love, accompanied by tears? In a public setting? That’s not how “a real man” behaves.
Toxic masculinity is an endemic feature of the MAGA cult. Which is about as childish, as immature, and a reflection of male insecurity, male weakness, as it gets.

I mean, he will be involved in politics to the effect of choosing who to endorse and what not, but if he loses I dont see him running for any office again. MAGA will go the way of the Tea Party. I'm sure Republicans will find some sort of rebrand that works because I dont the Dems fully seize power and do what they should ala FDR.
