Time to bring AD back to Utah

Adrian Dantley just got fired and we need another assistant coach. I'm all for Dantley unless we want to go big with Malone to improve Favors and Kanter's game

My bad on Dantley only playing in NO but I was born in 92 but seen him play on film

Anyways we should bring him back to Utah even though he played on the Jazz while they were in New Orleans.

Wow... I didn't realize I was in NO when I watched AD play. Silly me.

AD could teach Kanter and Favors some sick low post moves as he was generally a low post force when he played. He seemed to me to be kind of a self-centered jerk when the played however.

I'd love to see Malone come on the coaching staff, but I'm not sure how he'd do as a full-time assistant. Will Karl really be interested in the traveling and everything required of a full-time assistant? He seems better suited to working part time like Hornacek did over the past few years. But if I'm wrong and Malone wants to recommit his life to the NBA then I'm all for it.

I don't think it's ever appropriate to ask a victim to return to the place of their raping.

Thanks for the link I heard this on Friday and posted if anybody else had heard about it, also figured the chances are about slim to none but with it being so long ago and his jersey now is retired..... I could dream can't I.

After the job he did coaching in the playoffs against Utah I'm pretty sure I don't want any part of his coaching prowess here.

With JR Smith, KMart and Carmello that is a whole'lotta prima donna to deal with, also he would be a big mans coach and I think he could teach the heck out've post moves and foot work.

This.

He was a seat warmer in Denver. We don't want/need him.

I'd rather have Malone, and I don't want him as a coach either.

Jazz need to get Chiesa back. He was the gym rat who spent endless hours working with players psychologically.
Doesn't he still live here too? KFAN always seems to be able to interview him whenever they want to.
Jazz played their best when he was a coach.

He lives in a broom closet in the bowls of the ESA.

I'll pass on AD as well. Frank Layden didn't want a young Karl Malone to be influenced by AD - and I know AD is well-respected now but I don't necessarily want him working with Favors or Kanter either. Never saw AD play live, but saw alot of his games on tape and Dantley's game wasn't about size or strength, it was about movement, quickness and fluidity around the basket. He'd beat you with his first step and when he was around the rim he could spin back off either shoulder and finish.

That said, it's not like any of Denver's bigs that they had for a prolonged period - a Nene or a KMart or a Kleiza, ect - ever exhibited any of that footwork.

All I need to know about AD is how he acted at his jersey retirement at the ESA. What a jackass prick. I'm not even remotely surprised that he wouldn't give up his chair. That bitch has entitlement issues, among other things. (like he can't coach worth a damn)

I'd rather have The Thriller coaching our bigs. Seriously.

I would've mentioned Chieasa myself but he is now working for the NBA and I forget the exact title but it is coaching mentor to help develop up and coming coaches or something like that.

Yeah, because AD has done so great in Denver.... Remember how he coached a Denver team missing 2 starters (their SF and their C to a torn Achilles) and didn't have home court against Utah and kicked Utah's butt in the playoffs?

AD is one hell of a coach....

So who has he been coaching up in Denver? their bigs might be the most offensively inept bigs in the entire league.

Birdgirl, Kmart, and Nene....
