Tank ended the day they let go of tank commander corbin
I agree with this. PG doesn't need to get figured out this offseason. They have 4 young guys to look at (Exum, Burke, Cotton and Neto) and the option to try Burks at the 1 as well. Plus they could draft another guy for developmental purposes (especially a draft and stash type of guy). My guess is that they give Exum another full year to see how his development is progressing. If PG is still a weak spot at the deadline, they might look at making a move. . . but I'd expect them to address it next summer. The development (or lack of) by Burke, Exum and Burks (depending on his role) will determine how they move forward. Not enough info yet to make a decision.I would put off picking up a vet PG for this season. Let Burke and Exum figure it out for one more season. At the end of 2016 is when we figure out what to do with our PG situation. Will Burke be a good back-up? Is Exum gonna be a solid starter? Ship Burke out if he's useless. Shift Exum to an Iguodala role and sign a vet-PG if he isn't cutting it. Pick up maybe one more shooter. Use the 12th pick to get the best shooter we can get.
2017 is going to be our ****ing year, guys. I can feel it.

Imagine Alvin Gentry with this roster.
I don't wanna
If he's only agreed to terms, it actually makes me think that the Jazz got hot and heavy about showing their interest behind the scenes. Adding Tomic without having a huge buyout would be even better. I'd love it if they could make two moves this offseason - C and PG. Ante Tomic is a better fit for the Jazz than any veteran big on the market (and likely at a fraction of what he'd cost on the open market) and signing him would give the Jazz the depth needed behind Gobert without overpaying in free agency this summer.Just wanted to add some important information because people is assuming the buyout is the key for bringing him over. Gigantes reported two days ago that Tomic hasn't signed the extension yet. They agreed in principle on the extension but it seems he is just buying some time until the Jazz can make an offer (leverage baby!). His contract expires in July if I remember correctly, so the buyout is not an issue. It comes to the salary and perhaps things like his role on the team, quality of living in SLC compared to Barcelona, etc.
Anyway, I'm taking every bit of information with a grain of salt until he signs a contract either with us or Barcelona. Too much he thinks/says/it's believed....
