I've got hooked on Top Gear by the new american version, now i am starting to DVR the BBC version.
I haven't ever gotten into Survivor, but I will have to check out the new Hawaii 5-0. Seems like we have similar tastes.
I like the banter between the 2 main characters... it reminds me of Oceans 11, and 12.... the side conversations in the middle of the main plot make me laugh.
I have been watching the BBC version for years. Those guys are hilarious. My wife loves it too, and she is not a "car person" by any stretch of the imagination.
Initially I hated the american version - Tanner Foust is almost completely devoid of personality - but I have been warming up to it. I think my devotion to the BBC version clouded my judgement.
My wife watches Vampire Diaries, but not alone... I have to be in the room with her. Such a puss. Also, I used to watch the old, Le Fem Nakita on USA -- is that the same one? I loved that chick. She was the first actress to make out with another chick if my memory serves me. I have a warm spot in my heart for that.

No I'm referring to the new Nikita on The CW. It comes on right after The Vampire Diaries.
