Tough Day To Be In Law Enforcement

I watched the first 4 minutes. It looked very selectively edited.

But yeah, you mix in right-wing and left-wing protesters nowadays, that's what you get.

The story I read about was the second part of the video of the guy who got pulled out of his vehicle by protesters protesting police brutality and making their points by brutally beating the man unconscious.

The guy turned himself in. He's going to get to think about his actions behind bars.

Portland is a **** hole. So is Seattle.

You only shoot because you feel it's last resort and it's justified. If you shoot, it's not to subdue, detain or injure. Regardless of proximity to the suspect.
The only question is should he have fired his weapon?
The Police should never and wont ever be trained to shoot in the arm or the leg.

Yeah, with tfivas here for sure. Guns are lethal and always will be, they simply shouldn't be deployed if we want a non-lethal result. It's rule #2 (don't point it at anything you aren't willing to kill)

Now my limited information impression is that one shouldn't have been needed in this scenario.

7 shots is also ridiculously over the top.

Well I don’t know the guidelines. But that video looked like murder to me. Standing right next to him and shoots him 7 times. Once or twice, ok, but 7 times standing next to him? I’ll also admit I don’t know the context of why the cop was trying to stop this guy. All I’ve heard is he was trying to stop a chick fight or something. Tell me if wrong but he didn’t need to be shot over that and in front of his kids.

"I've been inundated by people asking my thoughts on the Kenosha/Jacob Blake shooting. Here's my take:

1. Don't forget the media has an agenda and it tends to not involve waiting for full information before rocketing their version in front of as many uninformed people as possible.

2. Police were called because Jacob Blake was waving a knife around and in conjunction with a domestic situation (not because he was roaming the countryside as a non-violent friendly fellow). While en route, dispatch informed police that Blake had an outstanding warrant in regard to his recent sexual assault and domestic abuse charges.

3. Police deployed a taser and it failed, as they are prone to do more than we'd like, despite being a great tool.

4. My research thus far, very early, is showing that Blake said he had a gun in the car and was going to go get it. He continued to brandish the knife while disregarding officer commands to drop it, which would have ended the situation PEACEFULLY, if he'd have complied with such lawful orders.

5. When he reached into the car, officers fired. Why? Because he already has one weapon and says he's getting a gun next from the location he's reaching into.

I'll continue to weather the public opinion storm and wait for all facts but these seem to be what has been established for me thus far."

Saw this on Reddit. I guess it was written by a guy named Mike the Cop. Don't know who he is but he almost has a million followers.

Sounds like he could be pulling things out of his *** cause I haven't read anything with this much detail. Where did he get the info? If it's true, is the shooting justified?

@Thee Idiotic Minivan K have you read any of this?

After doing what? With a video cut up like that, we don't know what he said or did before he was pulled out of the truck.

Really, it seems like you fall for every video selectively edited.

You can find what happened by doing a simple Google search.

Again, you fall to giving a blind eye. Like, what would warrant that type of behavior? You don't beat people unconscious.

Here's a literal full breakdown and 32 minutes of what lead up to the event.

I look forward to your saying yeah but... but...

what are you even defending, bro?

I agree, I’m so tired of leftists ruining our cities. It’s really getting old. Someone needs to start jailing these proud boys. They’re just out of control!
