I was too hard on you for this. I’m starting to see a path to a buyout. I still think it’s kind of unlikely, but I misjudged things initially. Please no buyout...

Running an organization is complicated. Lots of moving parts. And there’s an art to all the parts. You’re acting like it’s plug-and-play.... like all the right details and timings are obvious, you just gotta get someone in the role. What some of you want us to believe is that billionaire owners who pay 100's of millions a year in salary hire and tolerate people who dont pay attention to detail as it relates to what they pay and how they manage the cap. I am not buying that for a minute. And most owners are involved in the decisions on pay and the cap. Clearly opportunities emerge that make the FO of every team call audibles, including dumping picks and 2nd rounders to make us better. Maybe they should see that coming but I doubt that is always possible. We can all disagree on who is worth what and who we should pick up, trade etc. That is part of being a fan. But arguing that this is dumb people who are misinformed or sloppy is ridiculous.
Can you give us examples from the times you've been on the other side of the table from DL during negotiations?Yeah DLs negotiation skill definite leaves a lot to be desired.
Or even on the same side. Can you give us examples from the times you've been on the other side of the table from DL during negotiations?
Or even brought him a coffee while he was negotiating.Or even on the same side.
Does it count if he’s sifted through DL’s trash for clues?Or even on the same side.
Sure, why not?Does it count if he’s sifted through DL’s trash for clues?
How about walked past the room he was negotiating in?Or even brought him a coffee while he was negotiating.
Backup centers who can play decent basketball are rare.Backup centers are an abundant resource.
I mean look at some of the deals he’s handed out over the years... several overpays. In some of the trades where we are not negotiating against a lot of suitors he gives the kitchen sink to get a deal done. Every player we signed this offseason got a player option. If we got a discount on any of those that’s okay to give an option but we were paying full sticker. Player options suck... only downside on those. Can you give us examples from the times you've been on the other side of the table from DL during negotiations?

Good question. Why not asking the Knicks, Pistons, Cavs GMs about it yourself? I wanna know every bit the details regarding deals on Tucker, Bradley and our 23rd pick, then get back to me when you find out. Thanks! Can you give us examples from the times you've been on the other side of the table from DL during negotiations?
