What's ridiculous about this is the "finally move Gobert", as if it has been obvious for years Gobert does nothing but hold us back and we'd be so much better with a guy at center who can shoot a 3 and who never plays any defense. We won't win anything with defense, we just need to out-shoot everyone so, you know, get Gobert the **** out of there. If that's really the attitude Ainge has i might just need to stop being a jazz fan.
 
We really need Jeremy Grant , he offers so much at the PF that we don’t have , can still score the ball , but rebounding and defending multiple positions would help us immensely

He’s negligibly better than Bojan at rebounding. And saying negligible may be generous.

His role in Detroit is significantly different than the one he's had in Denver. Not sure how much of a 3D wing defender he's got left in him, but at least he's shown that he's well capable in the past.
 
DWill beat Frank Gore at boxing. I'm utterly surprised. Good for him.

It's nice to know Jerry Sloan could have beat Gore's *** too. One of my most respected NFL players of all time.;)

Tell me the last time you saw boggy chase down and block someone from behind …

Grant is long … far better finisher around the rim then boggy … actually has an inside game they this team lacks

If we don't seriously contend this postseason, what else do expect us to do? Joe is likely gone. Bojan is fading. Conley isn't far off. Clarkson is yikes.

Players like Rudy are great, but you don't win titles built around guys like Rudy. Or paying guys like Rudy $40+.

We simply don't have the roster that is perfect to compliment Rudy in the playoffs. You need two offensive superstars and multiple great perimeter defenders. We don't have that. We have streaky offensive players who are suspect defenders, one solid defender and Don.

This year is boom or bust. Hopefully, we win and we don't have to worry about it. If we flame out again in the 2nd round or earlier...

You don’t win titles around a guy like Rudy or build around a guy like Rudy because there has never been a guy like Rudy…

This is the same silly logic people were using with DWill… “you don’t win championships with PGs…”

Also “jump shooting teams don’t win championships.”

Of all those you listed Wallace is the only one with limited skills on the offensive end. The rest are elite with the exception of Draymond, who is a great facilitator and can hit an occasional jumper.
