Trade deadline discussion

Woodard just got released by the Kings.

Remember there being a conversation about picking him over Doke. May be time to take a flyer? He does play 3/4, which is a position of need for the jazz

So this is what my buddy from Philly texted me last night:
Utah made a good move. They traded Ingles and he might never play again. I can't believe anybody would take him! Risky!
And all it cost us was a couple of second rounders and a G League Alum and yet everybody around here is glum.

And yet it's party city in Philly right now cause they finally got something for Ben Simmons. And it only cost them Steph's younger brother, their backup center (Drummond) and two first rounders.

We can really only offer a two way if we keep House and Forrest. Maybe if Ryan decides to spend we could release Juan but I doubt we waive him. He's an nba player.

I think a two-way might be enough.

Now this is someone we should look at. I don't think we have a roster spot if Forrest gets a real deal and we sign House...but I'd bet on Bembry over Juancho for sure.

Don't mind start the Niang experiment on Woodard. He's got great tools but just got buried by the KANGZ. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt

From Hollinger's article on buyout guys... this is totally going to happen... isn't it.

17. Juancho Hernangomez, PF, Utah – Juancho Hernangomez has only played 147 minutes this season for Boston and San Antonio, and the Jazz acquired him mainly in the spirit of luxury-tax avoidance. His non-guaranteed $7.5 million deal for next season wouldn’t seem to be a big part of Utah’s plans either, and a buyout could potentially save the tax-paying Jazz some more money if they fill his roster spot with spaced-apart 10-days. In this case, I would suspect a Hernangomez buyout would land him with a team in Spain rather than another NBA club.

See my post above... I'll bet we negotiate a buyout with Juan and he gives back some money. Then we hold a roster spot open and sign House and Forrest.

Jazz twitter posted a welcome video for NAW but not Juancho.

Pls just sign Bembry, House, and Forrest. I'll let Ryan use my golf clubs.

I was surprised by his measurements when I watch video he looks like he’s 6’2”.

NAW is 6'4.25" w/o shoes and has a 6'9.5" wingspan. With shoes, he's close to 6'6". He's 205 lbs. He's a touch bigger than Trent Forrest and is the same size as Dante Exum.

You must be mistaking him for Kira Lewis Jr. or something.
