From us, it’s probably Ingles and first. Maybe we can move somewhere else and add some assets to LAC of a third team has another expiring contract and wants Ingles.

Morris isn’t going to play here though. He has openly talked **** about the players and city.
 
I don't think this team is nearly as close to winning a championship as we thought they were and I'm not sure trading Ingles and a first round pick is a smart move at this point. The odds of us getting a player back that's going to move the needle enough to get us over the hump seem extremely low and I think we would be better off using the first-round pick in a bigger trade, either at the deadline or in the offseason. I'm starting to come around to the idea of trading Conley or Bogey... we need to do something bold.
 
Is Jabari Parker worth signing for free still only 26 years old and did average over 20 points a game a few years ago not sure if he is too injury prone or just rubbish ?
 
This team was never a true title contender. You don't win titles built around an offensively limited center. Ever.

The Mike Conley trade was one of the worst trades in the history of the franchise. We would have had better playoff success just keeping JAE CROWDER. Its so bad that we still owe a 1st round pick from that deal.

Titles are won by dynamic offensive players and good perimeter defenders, and we don't have any good perimeter defenders.

Quin only knows how to catch the "funnel to Rudy" model. Thats why we wasted picks on Bradley, Dok, etc while signing guys like Whiteside. He's desperately trying to find Rudy 2.0 to run the only system he know how to coach. The same system that doesn't work in the modern day playoffs.

I don't care who you trade at this point. Joe's window is shut. Mike's window is barely open. Bojan is set for a slide before long. Rudy won't be this Rudy for long. If Don wants gone, trade him.

Such a wasted opportunity

My opinion is he is not committed to basketball. He is the poster-child for someone with all the skills and talent and physical ability but zero drive. Just say no to Jabari.

Ben Wallace was definitely offensively dynamic. That guys could score from everywhere as long as it was within 3 feet of the basket.

Luc Longley was an offensive juggernaut. I just remembered. And he was backed up by Wennington, offensive powerhouse.

Nesterovic was a beast, outshine Duncan with regularity.

Kevin Looney is a dynamic offensive player, often outshines Steph.

The interesting thing is Rudy has a stronger offensive rating, and has for years, than all of these guys. And even better than a lot of scoring centers as well.

Fact is teams win championships. If you told these teams that their offensively limited centers would never help them win a championship they would have spit champagne in your face.

None of those teams were built around those centers. The only one worth any sort of conversation is Ben Wallace. He worked his tail on defense while being able to guard the perimeter and post. He was an athletic freak. Ben Wallace was not an important part of the offensive game whatsoever. The Pistons team was built evenly. We are not. We run everything on both ends around Rudy. It doesn't work. It clearly won't work.
