Trade for Ben Simmons

Simmons shot 0/0 in the 4th quarter of all of their last 4 games. Hack-a-Simmons is a thing that exists and works. Tonight they had Hill handling the point to end the game because of this. Simmons is a douchebag and is even worse than Gobert on offense.

No mother****ing way.

Embiid is a much different player than Rudy. He can post up, drive off the dribble and shoot the 3.

Rudy and Simmons would not work in the postseason. At all.

Simmons contract is an an albatross. You’d have to trade him for Rudy straight up.

He’s unplayable on offense in close games if you’re in the penalty.

Oh okay.

Well, I think Bojan is a better true shooter than anything they have.
Don is a much better scorer than anything they have.
Royce isn't a shooter, but he can shoot as well as Thybulle or some of the other guys they have.

You throw a shooting center with that bunch, that could work until the last few minutes when Ben has to sit.

Replacing Rudy for Simmons one way or another could be interesting on paper. Ben is really good with shooters around him. He’d have 4 snipers around him at all times.

It's all about putting players in the right positions. You can't have Rudy/Ben work together in a playoff setting as LoPo alluded to but having Ben on this team as a point center would be fantastic.
