so asking for precedent is too much? lol
Where does precedent come from?
There is a first for everything. And this isn't a court of law. Precedent doesn't mean jack.

You want precedent.
Tracy McGrady was traded after his 3rd year in the league. at 20 years old. Lavine is 20 years old.
Boom! perfect expample. Next?
also, 3rd year isn't equal to 2nd year. You might need that reminder.
Good hell. I knew you'd try and use that.
Where does it end with you? How deep of hole are you willing to dig yourself?
You'll just sit here and transition from one meaningless argument to the next for no reason other than just to argue. It's pathetic.
NEWSFALSH!! You aren't making good points. The whole crux of your argument just got blown out of the water with the McGrady bomb. But now you want to spin it in other meaningless directions. just stfu bro and admit you were wrong.
His whole point was that the team that traded away TMAC regretted it, which made GM's think twice about making that kind of trade hence not one since. Even you have to admit this kind of trade doesn't happen often.
Favors has a lot of fans here. Myself included. That said, I highly doubt the Jazz would move Favors in a package that included Lavine unless a lottery pick would be included. I don't think the Wolves have that luxury. The deal with Lavine is that he has all of the physical attributes that could propel him to stardom, but his BBIQ is pretty low, and he's still functioning at a very fundamental level. He's a better/smarter player than he was last year, but he still makes an awful lot of bone-headed mistakes. We also play him out of position, partly out of necessity, and partly because the franchise feels that's the best way to develop those fundamental nuances. I'm personally a fan of Trey Lyles and Rodney Hood, and I would probably part with Lavine for either of those guys.

how do you think Toronto felt about that? What lessons do you think current GMs have learned about this example?
That's wasn't his argument. Go back further than just the last post.
.His argument was that it doesn't happen
So, I made an account on a Twolves fan board. Asked them about Lavine, and about trade possibilities. This is the response.
Thoughts?

Cmon Cy. We already made so much progress with this. Don't throw it a way.
Not only are you wrong, about Hood over Lavine, but you choose to use LMAO, as if you are saying it's not close. It's not close the other way.
Think about it. Hood is good player, who isn't dynamic in any way. He doesn't possess the same kind of upside that Lavine does. Lavine is just as a good a shooter, but has far superior athleticism. That matters Cy. You can't say it doesnt. It's often what sets apart good players from great players.
I'm gonna go play and splash around in the Jabari Parker thread. Because it's fun to participate in the wanking of wondering about whether a young player, on a rookie contract, with good upside will somehow be dealt.... even though that ish never happens.
Maybe we can merge these threads? Mods?
Also Hood > LaVine
you are a ****ing moron.
I asked a question about precedent, plain and simple.
you really are a ****ing moron.
