Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I mean…is it common to believe that Ayton is a 12/8 guy? I guess that would explain a lot of thinking here lol.
That is what I am wondering. The guy is a really good young player and if we are keeping Mitchell I think he is an excellent fit with him in the pick and roll. I also think he still has quite a bit of upside offensively.

And yes, I’m shooting way from the hip here. But the costs vs benefits are way underwater IMO.

He’s a RFA. They don’t want him. We really might not have to offer much. Like 2/40 maybe? And that’s it. Our involvement in a three-way is what the Suns and Nets need more than anything.

I personally think Ayton is overrated. But for what’s been discussed….it’s a no brainer. He’s got flaws but he’s worth Bogey and a mid 20’s first round pick. We just traded Royce for that lol.

Then that sounds like an opportunity. This is just the first time I’m hearing these kinds of offers for Ayton.

The picks are the only relevant thing here.

Have no fear of Fournier and Randle. Each of those could be flipped as needed; doubt they impact the tank command here.
Randle is the worst contract in the league. Well, all of the crazy extensions and the unforeseen notwithstanding.

I’ve been that guy who’s always said Ayton is kinda overrated….but we’re getting crazy when saying he might have been out of the league haha.

Ayton was able to punish the Clippers' lineups in ways Rudy couldn't. He also gave the Suns and advantage over the Warriors there for a while. He's not an All Star, but he's a functional starting center.
