It's sounding as though Ayton hasn't signed the offer though, so a sign-and-trade would still be possible.

They can’t sign KD. And assuming that Ayton will sign the offer sheet with Indiana, Phoenix basically will not be able to put together a trade package for Durant either.

they don't have the cap space. they have to free up about $5MM - i wouldn't be surprised to see turner end up in phoenix.

They can waive and stretch some guys or send a small salary out. I think this is in part to tell Phoenix that Indy ain't waiting on a KD deal... so take Turner for Ayton or we just sign him and move Turner later.

Yeah if Suns can get Turner for Ayton they may still be in play for KD.
