Wondering if the Durant and Donovan dramas are going to be pushed to be resolved soon by Silver.
Nah. He’s not that guy.Wondering if the Durant and Donovan dramas are going to be pushed to be resolved soon by Silver.
As well as watching as his best friends on the team all got dropped or traded.Makes me appreciate how Donovan has handled all the noise out of Utah and NY.
Maybe behind the scenes, but not out in front of scrutiny. You can’t convince me that someone as influential as Adam Silver has stayed completely on the sidelines as the perfect NBA star has basically been aligned to end up in the leagues biggest TV market.Wondering if the Durant and Donovan dramas are going to be pushed to be resolved soon by Silver.
Mitchell-to-NY has all sorts of narratives that could sell. Makes me wonder if he backchannels to New York on the tampering deal. "Trade for Mitchell or sit tight. Either way, you are losing 1st rounders."Maybe behind the scenes, but not out in front of scrutiny. Maybe I am not as bought into conspiracy theory NBA but... I am thinking Silver doesn't care about this at all and that the tampering is just because they obviously tampered and didn't follow the superficial rules of tampering. Can't make it that damn obvious.Mitchell-to-NY has all sorts of narratives that could sell. Makes me wonder if he backchannels to New York on the tampering deal. "Trade for Mitchell or sit tight. It just sets a really bad precedent if he fires their GM/HC because if you were a potential replacement for either of those guys would you have any confidence in your job security?Between Kyrie and KD they can make things pretty ugly. It will be bad for them too but everyone kinda suffers. If Tsai fires Marks/Nash its a major ego hit... those types of guys won't willingly just take that. If they trade KD and Kyrie its kind of an eff you to them... Do nothing and its ugly as hell.
I have no idea how this plays out. Everyone will look like **** when its over though.
And opens pandora’s box. That opens up for the LBJ’s of the nba to say fire this guy or trade that guy or I’m gone. Even though LeGM has basically ran every team he has played for he's the exception to the rule. Because for one he has shown the ability to recruit star talent that puts a team into championship contention at every stop and is arguably the GOAT. But also because he goes about it in a much more professional manner. He has never really had any crazy media things or issues with teams. If there's another LeBron level player both in terms of impact and influence you just bite the bullet but he's a generational player. And opens pandora’s box. +1 this is whats happen when you go for selfish big ego players....recipe for disaster.Yeah. I don’t feel bad for the Nets AT ALL
They made their bed. . . This is what they get for trying so hard to make a KD, Kyrie, Harden “super team”. . .
