With Beasley and Vando I feel like its more like we are playing with house money. Those guys were kinda the throw ins... get another first for em and I'd feel pretty happy.PK actually made a point that hit home with me. The Jazz have done so well with trades this season that the law of averages say that there has to be some reversion to the mean. Maybe it's better to take our winnings and leave the table.
Can they trade that since they dont have their 2024 pick?
With them it has to be a pick swap. The clippers get the worst the their pick and the thunder pick. At this point the swap of the nets or philly pick for whatever pick they get would be a nice upgrade. Can they trade that since they dont have their 2024 pick?
I’m pretty sure the folks over at PistonsFanz are also talking about playing with house money. With Beasley and Vando I feel like its more like we are playing with house money. Those guys were kinda the throw ins... get another first for em and I'd feel pretty happy.
I heard rumblings that they have discussed Duarte and 2 protected firsts for John Collins. I dont know why Atlanta would do it though, since they claim to be in win now mode.I wonder what Indiana is thinking on Chris Duarte. Wonder if Vando for Duarte straight up or with a second would be a deal they consider. Struggled coming back from injury and is a bit of an afterthought when all of Haliburton/Hield/Mathurin/McConnell are all healthy. If we found a home for Beasley I'd be a fan of getting Duarte on a buy low type of deal.
They could flip the picks for players that are better fits I guess... but that would take some time. If the choices were give a pick with Collins to get Beasley and Vando or get Duarte and two late picks... I'd choose the Pacers package and see what else the trade exceptions and picks could land.I heard rumblings that they have discussed Duarte and 2 protected firsts for John Collins. Our deals would land them Beasley + Vando or Levert + Vando (the proposed trade with Cavs has Beasley going to CLE and Levert going to ATL). Thats much more of a win now move.
I feel like we would be robbing them tbh.conley for kennard and a first. yes please.
He plays 22 minutes a night and only 15 minutes a night in the playoffs because of his defensive limitations. Its a bigger deal for a contender. I think they would rather do RoCo or Wall. I think they likely want to keep Jackson but could be wrong there. At 46% from three and 95% from the line I’d be willing to bet there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that Kennard is included in any deal for Conley.
